We had a wonderful turn out for the permanent plaque installed on the Shakespeare Bridge to commemorate Chris Boutelle’s life and work for the community. Chris’s nephew, Nick Di Fruscia shared his gratitude for the efforts by all those involved in getting the plaque through the city planning process. FHRA president, Alison Wallace spoke about all of Chris’ work with the organization and the neighborhood and the the mark he left on all of our lives. CD4 Councilperson, Nithya Raman graciously attended and spoke on behalf of the district about Chris’ long history in Los Feliz and the Franklin Hills and all the wonderful memories people who knew him had shared with her. Thank you all who attended and when ever you cross the bridge take a minute to stop and read the plaque and think of Chris.
