Thanks everyone and the FHRA board for coming out on a fine Saturday in June to celebrate the re-dedication of the Shakespeare Bridge Garden! The garden is once again ours to enjoy and maintain. We'll continue to have garden work parties to spruce it up (let me know if you can help lead this up). We'll also celebrate the 15 year anniversary of the garden in November.
Special Thanks! to Jane Cantillon for bringing Newman and Fletcher to play delightful 1920s music during the event; to Chef Mick Brown (BBQ Black Panther) for his delicious BBQ; to neighbors, FHRA and Say Cheese for your contributions to the potluck; to Councilmember David Ryu's office for the tables and chairs; and to David Brooks for supplying power for the band. We also appreciate officials who visited, spoke and mingled including Councilmember David Ryu, Board of Public Works Commissioner Heather Repenning, Seamus Garrity from Assemblymember Laura Friedman's office, and Cat Kim from the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council.
